牛津英語詞典宣布「引戰內容」為2025年度代表詞

牛津大學出版社旗下的牛津英語詞典（OED）在經歷了為期三天的公開票選，共計超過三萬名參與者投票後，正式宣布「rage bait」（引戰內容）當選為2025年度代表詞。牛津大學出版社的專家將「引戰內容」定義為「故意設計用以引發憤怒或義憤的線上內容，其特點是令人沮喪、挑釁或冒犯，通常發布的目的是為了增加特定網頁或社群媒體帳號的流量或互動」。
語言學家報告指出，在截至2025年12月的過去十二個月中，「引戰內容」一詞的使用頻率增加了三倍，此增長反映了網路互動倫理方面顯著的文化轉變。牛津語言部門總裁卡斯珀·格拉斯沃爾（Casper Grathwohl）評論，此選擇標誌著公眾對網路操縱策略的意識日益增強，這與2024年入選的「brain rot」（腦力腐爛，指因低品質內容導致的精神疲勞）有所區別。格拉斯沃爾進一步闡述，若說去年的詞彙捕捉了「無盡滾動帶來的精神消耗」，那麼「rage bait」則凸顯了「內容被刻意設計用來引發義憤並驅動點擊」的現象。
從詞源學角度來看，「rage bait」是「rage」（憤怒）和「bait」（誘餌）的複合詞，其最早的文獻記載可追溯至2002年一則發布於Usenet平台上的貼文，當時用來描述蓄意煽動他人反應的行為。這種與內容相關的實踐有時被稱為「rage-farming」（引戰式收割），是一種更系統性地透過挑釁性材料來維持互動的努力，其中常運用到錯誤資訊或陰謀論。牛津大學出版社每年透過分析語言數據和趨勢，並考慮公眾建議，選出具有文化意義的詞彙，以總結過去十二個月反映世界的表達方式。
儘管「引戰內容」在2025年獲得認可，但其詞源可追溯至世紀之交後不久，與更早的「clickbait」（點擊誘餌）相比，「引戰內容」更側重於激發憤怒、不和與兩極分化，突顯了英語語言的靈活性。其他入圍2025年決選名單的詞彙還包括「aura farming」（氣場收割）和「biohack」（生物駭客）。與此同時，劍橋詞典將形容詞「parasocial」（準社會性的）選為2025年度代表詞，該詞指的是與公眾人物之間單方面的情感連結，反映了數位文化和AI的影響力。
