Bardo Architecture: How Science and Ancient Texts Describe the Mechanics of Consciousness-1

The mechanics of the "unawakened individual's" transition

❓QUESTION:

In yogic tradition, after death, the soul of an unawakened person enters the Bardo and falls into an unconscious state like a deep sleep, only to wake up in a new life. Only the enlightened remain awake and can choose whether to reincarnate or not. Meanwhile, Michael Newton and many others suggest that souls after death join those at a similar level of development and even plan their subsequent lives. What is your take on this?

❗️LEE'S RESPONSE:

The term Bardo originates not from yoga but from Tibetan Buddhism, which is not even Buddhism but rather a variety of Lamaism. It possesses its own specific nuances, which we will set aside for now.

Regarding the transition of the "unawakened individual," the matter is actually quite simple. The transition itself is an awakening. Always. However, a personality may be so unprepared for this—expecting dramatic special effects, such as a "divine judgment" with demons—that it requires a period of adaptation, or frequency adjustment.

This adjustment itself can be highly specific, such as the one described by Michael Newton, or it could even be an immediate incarnation into another life specifically to bridge the frequency gap between reality and the individual's perception of it.

The logic is not that there are rules for a "correct transition"; rather, it is that a person's frequency determines their reality both in life and beyond. The personality must bridge this frequency gap itself to maintain its integrity. Otherwise, the experience of a cohesive life as a singular intention, established before incarnation, would be lost. Ultimately, these are not rules or mandates—this is simply the mechanics of incarnation as such.
