Is there a hierarchy within Oneness?
❓QUESTION:
Can the phrase "We are all One" be interpreted in different ways? There is a feeling that some sources constantly speak of this unity, yet follow it up by presenting information as if we are One while still existing within a hierarchy. In other words, we are connected to each other and all of existence, but every part is subordinate to something larger. So. Is it the mind attempting to force everything into a hierarchical system to maintain control, or does hierarchy exist beyond our world, simply in a completely different form—a form of unity that eludes the mind's judgment?
❗️LEE'S ANSWER:
Hierarchy is a product of the mind. It does not exist within the logic of Being. Hierarchy was invented for manipulation, promoted as an idea, and society was constructed upon this very notion.
Consider the different organs in your body. Some might claim the brain is paramount, others the heart. But there is no "chief" in the body. All organs function as One, each performing its own specific tasks. The intestines do not consider themselves superior, the heart does not place itself above the rest, and the brain does not view itself as king. They know (instantly and factually, without reflection) that they are a unified system, offering their resources to whichever organ needs them at that moment.
At the core of everything lies Service, not hierarchy. Not service in the sense of "self-abasement," but as assistance to the whole—a part of Yourself reflected in all things.
On a deeper level, this is about Love as an "organizing energy," rather than "giving away pieces of oneself." All of this is experienced collectively as One in the One Place Here. There is nothing else, so there is nothing to give away elsewhere and no one else to serve.
