La tomba conteneva resti umani e manufatti, tra cui ceramiche e resti di crostacei, che forniscono informazioni sulla vita quotidiana e sulle pratiche funerarie di questo popolo. L'archeologo José Pablo Aliaga, ha identificato i resti come appartenenti alla cultura Chancay.
I manufatti rinvenuti suggeriscono un profondo rispetto per i defunti e una credenza nell'aldilà.
