Avani+ Maldives Hosts PADI AWARE Week 2025

Avani+ Fares Maldives, celebrated as the Best Dive Resort 2024 by Travel Trade Maldives, is co-hosting PADI AWARE Week 2025 with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). The event, from September 12-21, 2025, in the Baa Atoll (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), will offer eco-conscious travelers and diving enthusiasts marine-focused programs. Guests will have complimentary access to conservation and dive experiences, including reef protection, ocean clean-ups, and sustainable diving. A highlight on September 17 (World Manta Day) includes a manta ray awareness course and snorkeling at Hanifaru Bay. The week also features Dive Against Debris® programs, daily excursions to reefs, and freediving/breathwork sessions. Land-based environmental initiatives will also be available.
