Tekirdağ's lavender fields, a popular destination for tourists, welcomed numerous visitors during Eid al-Adha.
The fields, which cover 1,500 acres and contribute to the city's tourism, hosted many domestic and international tourists during the holiday.
Visitors tried to capture the best photos in front of the decorations in the lavender fields, which attract attention with their eye-catching purple and lilac colors.
Citizens spent time in nature in the lavender fields, which are used as a natural studio.
Ömer Faruk Karaküçük, the Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, told the AA reporter that the lavender fields, which offer visitors a colorful route, have become a favorite spot for citizens during the holiday.
Karaküçük stated that people have accumulated beautiful memories with the photographs taken in the purple fields. He added, "Tekirdağ is adorned with a different beauty in every season. The lavender season started with the holiday. Beautiful purple fields attracted people during the holiday. People had a pleasant time in the lavender fields and left here very happy. Holidaymakers who came to the city did not pass without visiting the lavender fields. The lavender fields continue to contribute to the city's tourism."
Field owner Fatih Özgül also stated that they hosted many guests during the holiday.
Özgül stated that everyone enjoyed spending time in the lavender field. He added, "We have entered the lavender season very intensely. Those who come here take beautiful photos and leave here with beautiful memories. Our season continues after the holiday. Our field will be open to visitors until July 15. We are waiting for our guests."
