At CES 2025, Xpeng Aero HT revealed the Land Aircraft Carrier, a modular flying car that merges an electric minivan with a detachable eVTOL aircraft.
Set for mass production in 2026, the vehicle is priced at $300,000 and has garnered 3,000 intent orders.
The Land Aircraft Carrier features a six-wheeled electric minivan (ground module) and an eVTOL aircraft. Users can easily transition from driving to flying with a single command, allowing the eVTOL to detach, unfold, and take off.
After flight, the eVTOL reconnects to the minivan, folding into the trunk for storage, enhancing urban mobility.
The minivan boasts a futuristic design with a floating roof and can accommodate four passengers. The eVTOL includes a lightweight carbon-fiber cockpit and a dual-duct six-rotor system, with foldable propellers for compact storage.
