Lily Allen Opens Up About Trauma Treatment and Prioritizing Her Children's Well-being

Lily Allen, 39, has returned to her podcast 'Miss Me?' after a stay in a trauma treatment center. The singer and podcast host revealed she spent several weeks at the center, engaging in group and individual therapy to address personal challenges.

Allen emphasized the importance of prioritizing her children's well-being, stating that her decision to seek treatment was ultimately for them. "I'm in a situation now where I really have to be my strongest self for them," she explained. "It was a big decision to have to like leave them for a few weeks to go and focus on myself but ultimately it was for them."

She also addressed speculation about her absence, clarifying that she was not in "drug rehab." Allen shared that she is now meditating regularly and feels in a stronger place, though she acknowledged that healing is a lifelong journey. She had previously spoken about struggling following reports of her split from David Harbour.

'Miss Me?' is available on BBC Sounds.
