Rauw Alejandro Tops Latin Charts as Jessi Uribe Claims First No. 1 Solo Hit

Rauw Alejandro's 'Cosa Nuestra' has made a significant impact, debuting at No. 1 on both the Top Latin Albums and Latin Rhythm Albums charts. Meanwhile, Jessi Uribe has returned to the summit of Billboard's Regional Mexican Airplay chart with his single 'Si Ya Me Voy,' which has jumped from No. 2 to No. 1 for the week ending November 30, 2024.

'Si Ya Me Voy,' co-written with Joss Favela, marks Uribe's first solo No. 1 and his second overall. The song garnered 6.5 million audience impressions in the U.S. during the tracking week of November 15-21, despite a 6% decline from the previous week. This impressive figure was enough to secure the top position, pushing Eden Muñoz's 'Traigo Saldo y Ganas de Rogar' down to No. 3 with 6.1 million impressions.

Uribe expressed his gratitude for achieving this milestone, stating, 'Being No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay is a dream.' This achievement follows his previous success with 'Si Ya Hiciste Mal,' which reached No. 1 for one week in November 2022.

With 'Si Ya Me Voy,' Uribe has now placed five songs in the top 10 of the Regional Mexican Airplay chart throughout his career. He becomes only the fifth solo artist to attain a No. 1 spot on this chart in 2024, joining the ranks of Eden Muñoz and Xavi, who each have three No. 1 hits this year.

In addition to his chart success, Uribe is also celebrating a Grammy nomination for best música Mexicana album, further solidifying his place in the music industry.
