Customers can now participate in bonded staking, locking tokens for specific periods based on the blockchain. Kraken's Global Head of Consumer, Mark Greenberg, described this as a pivotal moment for both the company and the broader U.S. crypto landscape, emphasizing the importance of staking as a foundational element of cryptocurrency.
Clients can stake 17 different assets, including ETH, SOL, DOT, and ADA, with slashing insurance provided by a third-party for added security.
