Martellus Bennett's Super Bowl LI Ring, Commemorating Historic Comeback, Sells for Over $88,000 at Auction

Martellus Bennett's Super Bowl LI ring, celebrating the New England Patriots' historic comeback victory, fetched over $88,000 at a recent Hunt Auctions event. The 10-karat white gold ring, adorned with 283 diamonds, commemorates the Patriots' improbable 34-28 overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons after trailing 28-3. The ring, engraved with "We Are All Patriots" and "Greatest Comeback Ever," also features team owner Robert Kraft's signature. The sale included the original illuminated wooden box and a clear outer box engraved with Bennett's name. Bennett, who retired after the 2017 season, shared highlights from the Super Bowl win on social media following the auction. Hunt Auctions described the ring as one of the most desirable Super Bowl examples, explaining the high selling price. Bennett has since transitioned to creative endeavors, including writing and illustrating children's books.
