Canadian Police Recover UFO Debris from Lake Huron After F-16 Incident

On November 20, 2024, CTV News reported that Canadian police discovered debris from an unidentified flying object (UFO) shot down by a U.S. F-16 over Lake Huron on February 12, 2023.

The object, described as octagonal with hanging cables, was struck by two missiles, causing it to descend into the lake. Initial search efforts by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) were called off on October 16, 2023, due to worsening weather conditions.

Documents obtained from the Canadian Ministry of National Defence indicated that debris was found weeks after the search was officially halted but was not publicly disclosed. The RCMP stated that the recovered fragments posed no national security threat.

During the incident, the object was characterized as a potential balloon that could interfere with domestic air traffic. The RCMP had conducted a brief search with assistance from Canadian Armed Forces.

Despite the recovery, the analysis results of the debris remain undisclosed, raising questions about the nature of the object and the implications of its presence in North American airspace.
