Dubai RTA Partners with Elon Musk's The Boring Company for 'Dubai Loop' Underground Transport System

Dubai, UAE - The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has partnered with Elon Musk's The Boring Company to explore the 'Dubai Loop' project, a 17 km underground transport system featuring 11 stations. The system aims to transport over 20,000 passengers per hour, facilitating direct travel at speeds up to 160 km per hour using electric vehicles. Elon Musk highlighted the project's potential to enable rapid transit within Dubai, while UAE Minister Omar Sultan Al Olama emphasized its aim to improve connectivity in densely populated areas.
