On January 11, 2025, RippleX announced that nearly 80% of servers have upgraded to the latest version of the XRP Ledger software, rippled v2.3.0. This update introduces eight new amendments, marking a significant overhaul of the ledger.
The new features include XLS-70 Credentials for pre-approving payments, XLS-33 Multi-Purpose Tokens for DeFi applications, and XLS-37 AMM Clawback for token recovery in liquidity pools. Additionally, several bug fixes enhance transaction processing and NFT management.
RippleX urged operators to upgrade immediately to avoid disconnections from the network, as older versions will be phased out once the amendments are adopted.
