Mendoza, Argentina – The highly anticipated cultural and culinary event, Peatonal del Vino, is set to return on November 15 and 16, 2025. This iconic event, last held in 2019, will take place on the esplanade of Casa de Gobierno and the Civic Park, commencing at 7:00 PM.

After a six-year hiatus, the event returns with the objective of reinforcing Mendoza City's standing as an international hub for cultural and tourist gatherings. Over the course of two evenings, more than 100 local wineries will showcase a diverse array of wines for tasting. These will be complemented by a culinary experience featuring regional flavors, thoughtfully paired with the wines. Attendees can also look forward to a lively program of live performances.

The organizing committee anticipates up to 5,000 tastings per day, signaling strong expectations for attendance. While admission to the event is free, tasting coupons and official souvenir glasses will be available for purchase in advance via the Venti platform. The 2025 iteration will feature 32 stands representing local wineries.

A notable innovation for this year is the introduction of "Dionisia," a virtual assistant developed in collaboration with an Indian artificial intelligence company. This AI assistant is designed to provide event information and personalized cultural and culinary recommendations for the city through WhatsApp, marking a significant advancement in utilizing technology to enhance visitor experiences. The integration of AI for personalized recommendations is increasingly becoming a trend in the tourism industry, aiming to boost tourist satisfaction.

The comeback of the Peatonal del Vino signifies a pivotal moment for Mendoza, a city that has cemented its reputation as one of the world's premier wine capitals. Wine tourism has emerged as a critical component of Mendoza's territorial economic development, drawing visitors from across the globe. This event not only champions Mendoza's celebrated wine culture but also solidifies the capital as a key center for international cultural and tourist engagement.

Mendoza continues its efforts to elevate its tourism appeal, as demonstrated by a 57.5% increase in wineries open to tourism between 2018 and 2024. This growth underscores the province's dedication to offering visitors rich and varied experiences, thereby reinforcing its global tourism presence. The Peatonal del Vino, while centered on wine, also offers a platform to experience Mendoza's vibrant cultural and culinary heritage, further enhanced by the incorporation of new technologies like AI for personalized experiences. The event is poised to stimulate further growth in the tourism and local economy sectors, highlighting Mendoza's distinction as a world-class wine destination.
