Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced on Thursday his intention to meet with the European Union's foreign policy chief to discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and broader regional issues.
In a statement released by Iran's official news agency, Amir-Abdollahian stated, "I will meet with the European delegation on Friday." European diplomats, including French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, will also participate in the meeting.
The meeting is expected to address the ongoing nuclear program negotiations and the escalating tensions in the Middle East. The discussions aim to find common ground and de-escalate the situation. The meeting's outcome could have significant implications for international diplomacy and regional stability.
