Washington, D.C. - June 7, 2025: Vietnamese businesses have finalized approximately 20 agreements, totaling around $3 billion, to increase their imports of agricultural products from the United States.
These agreements were established in anticipation of the third round of official negotiations scheduled for the upcoming week. The Memoranda of Understanding were signed during discussions held in Iowa, Ohio, Maryland, and Washington.
The talks, which took place from June 2nd to June 6th, involved Minister of Agriculture and Environment Do Duc Duy. This initiative signifies a strengthening of trade relations between the two countries.
