N'Djamena, June 5 (Reuters) - Chad has suspended visa issuance to U.S. citizens. This action follows the inclusion of Chadian nationals in a U.S. travel ban.
President Idriss Deby announced the decision on Facebook, citing the principle of reciprocity. He stated that Chad would act in accordance with this principle.
Chad is one of seven African countries affected by the U.S. travel ban. The ban targets citizens from 12 countries.
