Eve Energy Launches New Open Source Batteries for Commercial Vehicles

China, May 20, 2025. EVE Energy unveiled eight new Open Source Battery products for commercial vehicles. These batteries target vans, trucks, buses, and construction machinery, addressing industry challenges. The LF125P van battery (41.86 kWh) charges from 20% to 80% in 18 minutes using a 2C direct charging system. The M254 light truck battery (160 kWh) offers 180 Wh/kg energy density and 400 km range. Heavy truck batteries include the LF230P (453 kWh) and LF668 (448 kWh), both with fast charging capabilities. Other batteries include the LF420 (563 kWh) with 145 Wh/kg, the LM284 (851 kWh) with 170 Wh/kg and 700 km range, and the LF324S bus battery (43.8 kWh) with a 10-year/1 million km warranty. The LF628 loader battery (350 kWh) offers 200 Wh/L integration and a 6,000-cycle life. EVE Energy also highlighted LMX chemistry, minimalist design, 3D liquid cooling, safety features, and AI-powered operations to enhance battery performance.
