France's 'Choose France' Summit 2025: €20 Billion Investment in New Energy and AI

10:04, 21 May

Edited by: an_lymons vilart

France is set to receive €20 billion in new investments focusing on new energy and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors, announced during the Choose France summit held on May 19, 2025. President Macron highlighted that these investments build upon the €20 billion already committed to AI projects at the Paris AI summit in February.

The investments aim to enhance France's attractiveness to foreign investors by supporting key sectors. Several companies have already pledged significant amounts. Prologis, a U.S. logistics giant, plans to invest €6.4 billion in four data centers in the Paris region. Additionally, London-based fintech Revolut intends to invest €1 billion over the next three years to expand its operations in France and is seeking a French banking license.

These investments reflect France's commitment to fostering innovation and competitiveness in Europe. The Choose France summit, initiated by President Macron, serves as a platform to showcase France's economic reforms and attract international businesses to support growth, innovation, and employment across the country.
