Oman Launches Accelerator Program for Sustainable Energy Startups

Oman, Date: Today. OQX, the R&D arm of OQ, launched an accelerator program featuring 13 startups focused on sustainable energy. The initiative aims to transform Oman's innovation landscape and align with global energy transition objectives.

Startups include DAWM, developing nanocoatings to enhance solar panel efficiency, and Dymuma, creating autonomous cleaning robots for photovoltaic systems. AB Energy provides thermal storage solutions and mobile solar microgrids to increase renewable energy accessibility.

Desolenator is pioneering solar-powered desalination, and EcoSorb transforms palm waste into aerogel materials for water treatment. InkClear offers marine waste-based filtration reducing costs by 40%. The program offers access to OQ's expertise and network, supporting ventures from prototype to commercialization.
