Torsin Mini-Laptop Features Unique Circular Trackpad and Convertible Design

The Torsin Mini-Laptop has entered the compact computing market, distinguishing itself with a convertible form factor and an unusual circular trackpad. This 10.5-inch device is powered by an Intel Processor N150, designed to function as a Windows tablet and an e-reader.

Measuring 24.5 x 18.8 x 2 centimeters and weighing 980 grams, the Torsin sports a 10.5-inch touchscreen with a 1920 x 1280 pixel resolution and 300 nits brightness. Its display supports the full sRGB color space and features a 360-degree hinge, allowing it to transform into a tablet. A notable design element is the circular trackpad, surrounded by dedicated buttons for quick volume and screen brightness adjustments.

Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, a Mini-HDMI port, and a microSD card reader. Under the hood, the Intel Processor N150 is equipped with four Gracemont efficiency cores capable of reaching speeds up to 3.6 GHz. While suitable for everyday tasks, benchmarks indicate its performance is on par with older dual-core CPUs. The processor has a 6W TDP and integrates Intel UHD Graphics with a dynamic frequency up to 1000 MHz, supporting up to three 2160p monitors.

The Torsin Mini-Laptop is powered by a 5,500 mAh battery, though specific battery life details have not been released. The device was successfully funded via Kickstarter and has been available on the market since May 2025. The initial Kickstarter price was approximately $378 USD, with a projected retail price of $526 USD. Deliveries were scheduled to begin in November 2025.

The circular trackpad is a distinctive feature, though not entirely unique. Panasonic, for instance, has previously incorporated circular trackpads into its Let's Note series, catering to users who appreciate alternative input methods. The Intel N150 processor, while entry-level, benefits from Intel's architectural advancements, offering a modest performance increase over its predecessor, the N100.
