Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

German investigators, in a coordinated international operation, have shut down Archetyp Market, a major criminal trading platform in the Darknet.

The platform primarily facilitated drug trafficking, generating a total revenue of at least 250 million euros. It had approximately 612,000 customer accounts and 3,200 sellers.

Over 300 officers participated in 25 searches across several EU countries. A suspected administrator, a 30-year-old German, was arrested in Barcelona, Spain.

The server infrastructure, located in a data center in the Netherlands, was shut down. Raids were also conducted in Romania, Sweden, and Germany.

Authorities seized dozens of mobile phones, computers, data storage devices, and assets worth 7.8 million euros. These items are being analyzed for further investigation.
