Toyota Launches New Electric SUV with Impressive Range of 620 km

Toyota has introduced a new electric SUV, comparable in size to the Mazda CX-5, priced from 348 million VND. This model boasts an impressive driving range of 620 km, reflecting the automaker's commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup.

In Vietnam, the automotive market is experiencing significant growth, with approximately 65,200 new vehicles entering the market in November. This includes a notable increase in locally produced vehicles, which reached a record output of 47,300 units, up 2.8% from October.

The surge in production is largely attributed to a government policy offering a 50% tax incentive for domestically assembled vehicles, which has encouraged manufacturers to ramp up output. In total, 129,400 locally assembled vehicles were produced during the incentive period.

Additionally, Vietnam imported 17,900 completely built units in November, marking a 138.4% increase in volume compared to the previous year, contributing to a total of 160,694 imported vehicles so far this year.
