On February 24, 2026, Anthropic significantly expanded the utility of its Claude AI platform with the launch of ten new business-oriented plug-ins. This major release transforms Claude from a standalone conversational assistant into a deeply integrated enterprise tool, allowing the AI to take action directly within the software environments where professionals already work.

Core Integrations Across Key Sectors

Developed in collaboration with established industry partners, the new suite of plug-ins bridges Claude with both standard productivity infrastructure and highly specialized enterprise software.

  • Financial and Data Platforms: Through new integrations with FactSet and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), Claude can now be embedded directly into wealth management, investment banking, and private equity workflows to parse and analyze massive financial datasets.
  • Enterprise Operations & HR: Integrations with DocuSign and Salesforce's Slack allow Claude to streamline human resources tasks, legal document processing, and internal team coordination.
  • Everyday Productivity: Anthropic also rolled out direct connectivity to core office tools, specifically Gmail and Google Calendar, enabling the AI to autonomously manage scheduling and draft highly contextual communications.

The Engine Powering the Plug-ins

To ensure these plug-ins function smoothly across complex, data-heavy applications, Anthropic has paired them with significant backend upgrades:

  • 'Agent Teams': A newly introduced framework that allows Claude to use these plug-ins sequentially, executing complex, multi-step tasks autonomously across different applications.
  • 1M Token Context: The underlying Claude Opus model has been upgraded with a 1-million-token context window. This allows the AI to process approximately 750,000 words in a single prompt—essential for reading extensive document libraries or codebases pulled through the new integrations.

The Intuit Expansion

Further expanding its plug-in ecosystem, Anthropic announced a strategic partnership to build custom integrations for Intuit’s product suite, including QuickBooks and TurboTax. Slated for a Spring 2026 launch, Intuit is utilizing the Claude Agent SDK to develop proprietary business agents, while also deploying Claude Code internally to enhance its engineering and design teams.

Addressing the rollout, Anthropic's Head of Product for Enterprise, Scott White, emphasized that these plug-ins are designed to be "infrastructural and complementary." By pairing the AI with the specific business data of its partners, Claude aims to optimize workplace efficiency and assist human workers, rather than displace them.
