Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, has entered into a co-management agreement with Alta Music Group, an independent full-service music company based in Los Angeles. This partnership marks Alta's first official artist signing and aims to provide Jennie with global management support while she continues her collaboration with her own company, OddAtelier.
Founded by Jeremy Erlich, former Global Head of Music at Spotify, Alta Music Group offers services in management, publishing, and recording music. The company has established partnerships with The Orchard for worldwide distribution and label services, and with THEBLACKLABEL, a Seoul-based label founded by producer Teddy Park, to develop and promote artists across both companies.
Jennie released her debut solo album, "Ruby," in March 2025, featuring collaborations with artists such as Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis. The album received positive reviews and achieved significant commercial success, selling over one million copies worldwide in its first week and entering the top ten in 19 countries, including South Korea, Australia, and the United States.
In addition to her music career, Jennie made her solo debut at Coachella 2025, delivering a performance that showcased her versatility as an artist. She also received the Global Force award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards, recognizing her influence and contributions to the music industry.
This strategic partnership between Jennie and Alta Music Group is expected to further enhance her global presence and support her continued success in the music industry.
