Robert De Niro will be honored with the Honorary Palme d'Or at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. The award will be presented during the opening ceremony on May 13, 2025, celebrating his contributions to filmmaking. Following the ceremony, on May 14, 2025, De Niro will share his experiences in a masterclass at the Debussy Theater. This offers aspiring filmmakers a chance to learn from the actor. French actress Juliette Binoche will serve as jury president. The festival will run from May 13-24, 2025.
