Sorrentino will attend the festival in Sarajevo to accept the award and conduct a masterclass. His career includes representing Italy at the Oscars multiple times, with 'The Great Beauty' winning the Golden Globe and BAFTA award for best foreign language film in 2014.
The Honorary Heart of Sarajevo was established in 2005 to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the film industry and supported the festival's development. Sorrentino's unique storytelling and visual style have captivated audiences globally, making him a fitting recipient of this prestigious award.
