The United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network held its 4th Annual Meeting at the UN headquarters in New York on May 19, 2025. The meeting, co-hosted by the UN Office for Partnerships and the Fashion Impact Fund, in collaboration with the UN Sustainable Fashion Alliance, gathered global leaders, industry pioneers, policymakers, and changemakers.
The focus was on how the fashion and lifestyle industries can further contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Discussions included emerging legislation, circular design, digital innovation, and ethical supply chains.
This year's meeting featured contributions from the Government of Sweden, including the unveiling of sustainable uniforms for UN tour guides. Over 400 stakeholders participated, aiming to build on previous momentum through fireside chats and networking to develop sustainable solutions.
