During the highly anticipated opening ceremony, flagbearers Lucas Pinheiro Braaten and skeleton pilot Nicole Silveira will showcase specially engineered capes crafted from recycled nylon. These garments pay homage to the iconic Moncler Karakorum jacket, featuring a hidden yet powerful detail: an image of the Brazilian flag printed on the interior to symbolize deep-seated national pride. The rest of the Brazilian contingent will be outfitted in sleek blue and green ensembles that honor the national colors. A pivotal figure in securing this prestigious sponsorship for Team Brazil was alpine skier Lucas Pinheiro Braaten. Beyond his athletic prowess, Braaten serves as a global ambassador for Moncler. Strategic consultant Giulini Schauer pointed to Brazil’s presentation as one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the upcoming Games. She noted that this collaboration reinforces a global trend that gained significant momentum during the Paris 2024 Olympics, where the merging of luxury fashion and professional sports became a core strategy to enhance the international appeal and cultural relevance of the Olympic movement.
