But, as if that wasn't enough, Casillas has also been linked to a past relationship with Spanish presenter Lara Dibildos. The information was revealed on Monday by Belen Esteban, who stated on the show 'Ni que fuéramos' that the former footballer had a relationship with Dibildos. According to her statements, the affair lasted for a considerable period and was conducted with great discretion. "They always had to go into hiding, hiding," she commented, adding that their relationship was "intermittent" and assuring that they were "together for more than a year."
Shortly after, Kiko Matamoros reinforced the idea that the couple avoided any public exposure. "They didn't lead a public life in the street, not even for a moment, because they didn't want it to be known. They weren't interested. If it had been known, it would have ended," he affirmed.
However, neither of the two panelists wanted to specify whether this entanglement took place while Casillas was in a relationship with Sara Carbonero, with whom he was married for over a decade and has two children.
