The Partners Group has recently completed its new headquarters in Baar, Zug, a striking architectural project that combines elements of industrial design with modern aesthetics. The campus spans 21,000 square meters and includes two brick buildings designed to resemble historic factories, complete with a chimney, known as the Entry Factory and the Big Factory.
In contrast, the third structure, dubbed the Green Building, is a contemporary glass edifice adorned with greenery, representing a significant departure from the industrial theme. These buildings are interconnected by walkways, creating a cohesive campus environment for up to 1,400 employees.
Inspired by the Partners Group's U.S. headquarters in Denver, the design aims to evoke the character of historical industrial sites in the region. However, the buildings are entirely new constructions, as the area previously featured only a vast green field.
This architectural endeavor reflects a growing trend among corporations to create distinctive headquarters that resonate with their brand identity while also fitting harmoniously within their surroundings. Unlike many tech giants in the U.S. with extravagant designs, the Partners Group's campus offers a unique yet understated presence in the predominantly financial landscape of Zug.
