The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation has announced its 2025 performer nominees, including a diverse group of artists. Among the nominees is Maná, making history as the first Spanish-language rock band to receive this honor. Formed in Guadalajara, Mexico, over 40 years ago, Maná has sold over 40 million albums, solidifying their global impact. Mariah Carey, with 19 number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and hip-hop duo Outkast, winners of six Grammy Awards, are also among the nominees. Other nominees include Chubby Checker, Bad Company, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, The Black Crowes, Phish, Soundgarden, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Cyndi Lauper, and The White Stripes. An international panel of over 1,200 artists, historians, and music industry professionals will vote to select the inductees, to be announced in late April. The induction ceremony will take place in Los Angeles in the Fall.
