Bryan Adams Set for Sixth India Tour with New Album and Live Box Set

As Canadian rock legend Bryan Adams gears up for his sixth tour in India, he reflects on his enduring popularity and the impact of his music over the decades. Known for timeless hits like 'Summer of 69' and 'Everything I Do', Adams has captivated audiences worldwide for over 50 years.

This December, Adams will embark on a five-city 'So Happy It Hurts' world tour. His first concert in India took place in 1993 at a packed cricket ground in Mumbai, a memory he cherishes. He recalls, 'It was an absolutely packed cricket ground... on one side you had the audience, many of whom were in traditional costumes.'

Adams' influence extends beyond his music; he has been a consistent performer, returning to countries where he has played before. He shares, 'I’ve been quite consistent over the years to return to countries that I’ve performed in.' This dedication has helped maintain his relevance in the ever-evolving music landscape.

Looking ahead, Adams is excited about his upcoming projects. He is currently working on a new album set to release in 2025, titled 'Roll With The Punches', alongside a box set of three live albums recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, scheduled for release just before Christmas.

As he prepares for his tour, Adams is also exploring new musical avenues, having recently purchased an electric sitar, hinting at potential experimentation with Indian musical influences. 'We don't have a lot of time off between our shows, but undoubtedly, we will be enjoying some fine Indian cuisine,' he adds, emphasizing his love for the culture.
