Los Angeles, CA — Elon Musk unveiled Tesla's long-awaited Robotaxi and a new multi-passenger Robovan during the 'We Robot' event on Thursday. The Cybercab, designed without steering wheels or pedals, is expected to cost under $30,000 and will not be available until at least 2026.
The Robovan, which can seat up to 20 passengers and serve multiple purposes, features a sleek, Art Deco-inspired design. Musk described the interior as 'meant to feel like a spaceship' with spacious seating and LED lighting.
While Musk's presentation showcased Tesla's innovative direction, the lack of clarity regarding the business model for these vehicles raised concerns among investors, leading to a 7.3% drop in Tesla's shares the following morning.
