February 10, 2025 - UNRWA reports a surge in the forced displacement of Palestinian communities in the northern West Bank. Israeli forces' Operation Iron Wall, ongoing since January 21, has significantly impacted refugee camps, rendering some uninhabitable. The operation, which began in Jenin camp and expanded to Tulkarm, Nur Shams, and El Far'a, has displaced 40,000 Palestine refugees. UNRWA notes the use of air strikes and advanced weaponry by Israeli Forces. Palestinian militant activity, including the use of improvised explosive devices, also contributes to the instability. Following the implementation of new laws on January 30, UNRWA has no contact with Israeli authorities, hindering aid delivery. OCHA reports at least 40 deaths since January 21 due to ongoing operations in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas. The WFP and partners are providing cash assistance to affected households.
