Land Rover has refreshed its Defender lineup for the 2026 model year, introducing several updates across the 90, 110, and 130 models, including the high-performance Defender OCTA. These updates include exterior design enhancements, new technology, and a revised color palette.
Exterior and Interior Updates
The 2026 Defender features redesigned headlights with a unique light signature, standard fog lights, and flush rear lights with smoked lenses. New exterior colors include Woolstone Green and Borasco Grey. Inside, a larger 13.1-inch touchscreen provides more intuitive control for infotainment. The center console has also been redesigned with improved storage options.
New Technology and Features
Technological upgrades include Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, making it easier to negotiate rough terrain. The Defender 130 now offers an integrated air compressor. A driver-facing camera monitors driver attention. The Defender OCTA, the extreme performance model, offers Sargasso Blue and Borasco Grey exterior colors and a Patagonia White Matte Wrap option, available from late 2025.
Defender OCTA Enhancements
The Defender OCTA, the top-tier model, boasts a 635PS 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and 6D Dynamics suspension. It also introduces new exterior options, including Sargasso Blue and a Patagonia White Matte Wrap.
