Zeekr, a Chinese electric car brand, has launched its first store in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The dealership represents a R$ 10 million investment by the Sponchiado group.
The store will feature two models initially: the X urban SUV, priced at R$ 298,000, and the 001 sports car, at R$ 542,000. A medium-large SUV is planned for launch in the second half of the year.
Sponchiado plans to expand the Zeekr brand to Caxias do Sul and Passo Fundo by 2025. Zeekr focuses on premium electric cars and is part of the Geely group, which has stakes in Volvo and Lotus.
Another Geely brand, featuring high-tech hybrids, is expected to arrive soon.
