Noida is preparing to inaugurate its first Deer Park and Sunset Safari at the Biodiversity Park in Sector 91 in 2025. This project, recently approved by the Central Zoo Authority (CZA), will transform 30 acres into a sanctuary for deer and a unique night-time safari destination.

The park is designed to house 132 deer from 10 different species, including native varieties and African antelopes. Deer will be sourced from zoos in Lucknow, Kanpur, and Hyderabad, and rescued animals from the Noida International Airport area will also find a safe haven here. A retired district forest officer will oversee the project.

Key Features

The park will feature a veterinary care unit, quarantine zones, walkways, and viewing platforms. Security will be ensured by a two-metre-high boundary wall. The Sunset Safari will allow visitors to observe deer and aquatic birds until 10 pm, using spectrum lighting technology to provide clear visibility while maintaining a natural environment for the animals. This 40 crore project was approved and construction is set to begin soon.
