In a surprising auction event, a 1975 will of music legend Bob Dylan has been listed for $27,500 by memorabilia dealer Moments of Time. This document, which includes provisions for Dylan's brother, comes with a rich history that raises questions about its authenticity as his final testament.

Dated September 22, 1975, when Dylan was just 34 years old, the will specifies that if his younger brother, David Zimmerman, survives him, he is to inherit $50,000 and the estate he currently resides in, located on ten acres in Minnesota.

The will also addresses Dylan's financial concerns for his five children from his first marriage to Sara Dylan, as well as a daughter from his second marriage. Signed as 'Robert Dylan,' the document reflects the artist's legal name after he changed it from Robert Allen Zimmerman in 1962.

This auction is set against the backdrop of another recent Dylan auction in Nashville, where a draft of his iconic song 'Mr. Tambourine Man' fetched a staggering $508,000. Overall, Julien's Auctions reported nearly $1.5 million in sales from Dylan-related items, including a painting that sold for $260,000 and a guitar for $222,000.

Bob Dylan's legacy continues to captivate audiences, with a biopic titled 'A Complete Unknown' set to release in theaters on February 27, 2025.
