Cat Video Fest 2025 is a 73-minute compilation of internet cat videos, including animations, music videos, and mini-documentaries, curated by Will Braden, creator of "Henri, le Chat Noir." The festival is screening in over 500 independent theaters across the United States, Canada, and internationally, including the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Spain, Japan, and Brazil. A portion of ticket sales supports cat-focused charities and shelters, having raised over $1 million since its inception in 2019. The screenings aim to provide a joyful communal experience while supporting local animal welfare organizations. For example, at the IFC Center in New York City, a portion of proceeds benefits the local cat charity Meow Parlour.
