India and the United States Forge Ahead in Global Hydrogen Energy Transition

India and the United States are taking significant steps in the global energy transition, focusing on collaborative national hydrogen missions. As two of the largest democracies, they are positioned to lead climate change solutions, according to the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF). On Hydrogen Day, Mukesh Aghi, CEO of USISPF, underscored their commitment to developing clean energy supply chains and hydrogen technologies.

Ajay Yadav from India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy emphasized the cooperation highlighted at the International Conference on Green Hydrogen 2024 in New Delhi, marking a pivotal moment in advancing the green hydrogen ecosystem. India's National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to position the country as a global leader in green hydrogen production.

The partnership is set to enhance collaboration on hydrogen technology deployment, safety standards, and the ambitious goal of producing affordable clean hydrogen.
