The 2024 Taiwan Medical Technology Expo will take place from December 5 to 8 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. Ten companies from the Hsinchu Science Park will showcase diverse applications of smart healthcare technologies, focusing on rapid diagnostics, non-invasive treatments, personal health management, and precision medical devices.
Among the exhibitors are leading firms such as JMicron, Qisda, and Wistron Medical, demonstrating the strength of Taiwan's precision health industry. Supported by robust semiconductor, ICT, and AI technologies, Hsinchu is advancing smart healthcare innovations, leveraging ICT advantages in medical products.
Currently, Hsinchu's biotechnology sector includes 154 companies, generating a revenue of NT$19.58 billion in 2023, with continued growth expected. The newly opened third biotechnology building in the Hsinchu Biomedical Park is fostering a cluster effect, enhancing technological innovation and market expansion.
The expo aims to attract more collaboration opportunities, propelling the smart healthcare industry to new heights and offering breakthroughs in global health.
