Fujitsu and AWS Expand Global AI Collaboration to Accelerate Digital Transformation

KAWASAKI, Japan, Dec 2, 2024 - Fujitsu has signed a three-year global strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance digital transformation across various industries.

This partnership, finalized on November 29, builds on existing collaborations in mobility, finance, and retail, aiming to address broader societal challenges through advanced cloud services.

Fujitsu plans to increase its AWS-certified engineers from 7,000 to 12,000 over the next three years, doubling customer deals to over 800 during this period.

The initiative will strengthen Fujitsu's cloud migration support and integrate its Uvance offerings with AWS's cloud-native architecture, enhancing service delivery and system development capabilities.

Yoshinami Takahashi, Fujitsu's COO for Uvance, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in driving digital transformation through legacy modernization and cloud solutions.

Jaime Vallés, AWS Vice President for Asia Pacific, noted that this expanded collaboration aims to tackle significant global challenges through innovation.
