Lucas Film Festival 2024 Awards Top Films for Young Audiences on October 15

The Lucas Film Festival, held annually in Germany, has announced its winners for 2024, showcasing films aimed at young audiences aged 3 to 18. This year's festival took place from October 5 to 12, featuring a diverse range of films from around the globe.

Among the jury members were Iranian film critics Arameh Etemadi and Bijan Tehrani, who evaluated the competing entries alongside international judges Akili Bjar, Susan Morgan Cooper, and Chill Nafous. The festival awarded its special prize to the film "Burnt Milk" by Justin Bower, while the "Bridge Across Borders" award went to "Foreign Language" by Claire Berger.

In addition to the film screenings, the festival hosted workshops and discussions aimed at fostering a love for cinema and encouraging critical thinking about films among young audiences.
