Recent archaeological excavations in Italy have brought to light ancient underground galleries that supported a thermal complex atop a hill. This discovery allows researchers to reconstruct the urban fabric of the era and its development over the centuries.
Initiated by the local Superintendency in collaboration with Eos Arc, the project aims to bridge archaeology with modernity, providing the public with insights into ancient life. Visitors to the site will find a dedicated video presentation detailing the excavation process and findings, alongside informative panels that narrate the history and unique features of this location.
On November 17, an open day will offer guided tours led by the archaeologists involved in the excavations. These experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the site's various historical phases, exploring Etruscan, Roman, and other significant periods that shaped the area. This event presents a unique opportunity to learn about the site's relationship with the powerful Etruscan city of Veio and the significant changes it underwent during Roman expansion.
