Portugal is solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for music festivals, showcasing a vibrant mix of venues and genres that attract fans and artists globally. The 2025 festival season promises a remarkable lineup, featuring top acts such as Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, and Kings of Leon.
One of the highlights is Afro Nation Portugal, celebrating its fifth anniversary from July 9 to 11 at Praia da Rocha in Portimão. The festival is renowned for its focus on Afrobeats and amapiano culture, with headliners like Burna Boy and Tems set to perform. The event aims to unite artists and fans from around the world, emphasizing the growing influence of African music.
NOS Alive, another significant festival held from July 10 to 12 in Algés, will feature a diverse mix of rock, indie, and electronic music. This year’s lineup includes not only Olivia Rodrigo and Kings of Leon but also emerging artists such as Girl in Red and Noah Kahan. The previous edition attracted 165,000 attendees, highlighting its popularity.
