Apple TV+ Announces Limited Series Adaptation of 'The Holiday'

Apple TV+ is developing a limited series adaptation of the 2006 romantic comedy 'The Holiday,' featuring new characters and storylines. The series will follow two women—one American and one British—who swap homes over the Christmas season and unexpectedly find love. Krissie Ducker, known for her work on 'Killing Eve' and 'Sweetpea,' is set to write and executive produce the series, with Rob Delaney serving as a consultant. Left Bank Pictures will handle production. Notably, Nancy Meyers, who directed the original film, is not involved in this adaptation. Casting is currently underway, with efforts to bring well-known actresses for the leading roles. An official release date has not been announced yet.
