Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres has added another accolade to her collection, winning the Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Drama Film for her role in "Ainda Estou Aqui," directed by Walter Salles. The awards ceremony took place on January 26, 2025.
Torres faced tough competition, going up against notable actresses including Angelina Jolie in "Maria," Lily-Rose Depp in "Nosferatu," Nicole Kidman in "Babygirl," Saoirse Ronan in "The Outrun," and Tilda Swinton in "O Quarto ao Lado." In addition to her Satellite Award, Torres is also a contender for the Academy Award for Best Actress and previously won a Golden Globe in the same category.
