On Sunday evening, the 18th Vilnius Short Film Festival held its awards ceremony, where an international jury announced the best films of this year's festival. A total of 43 short films from over thirty countries competed in the festival's competitive programs, including 13 works by Lithuanian creators.
From January 20-21, a special winners' program featuring only the award-winning films will be showcased. This program will be available in cinemas across Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Šiauliai.
The festival highlights the vibrant short film scene and provides a platform for emerging filmmakers, reflecting the cultural diversity and creativity present in contemporary cinema.
